As Christmas approaches, if you’re anything like me, you’ll be trawling the internet for gift ideas. To try and save you some head scratching I thought I’d recommend, on my blog, some of my favorite products and retailers.

Being a great fan of chocolate and knowing that many people use it as a fall-back position when they can’t think of anything else to give as a present I decided to find something that, although still chocolate, was a bit different from your average offering. Then I remembered how much people like to receive gift baskets on any special occasion, not just Christmas, so I did some searching to see if I could put them together and find any chocolate gift baskets.

After an extensive search I settled on zChololat.com

for my first recommendation because, although they are not the cheapest chocolate retailer out there their products just exude luxury and quality. I am not alone in thinking this, zChocolat is rated Forbes’s favorite online chocolatier since March 2005 by Forbes Inc.

zChocolat was created on April 2000 and specializes in luxury chocolates gifts that are delivered worldwide by DHL. 70% of their products go to the United States. The chocolates are all hand-made by the very best French chocolatiers who are all award-winners. One of them is the world champion, Pascal Caffet.

The chocolates are made from all natural ingredients and do not contain preservatives, coloring or fat other than the 100% pure cocoa-butter.

You can see from the pictures that, strictly speaking, these are not traditional chocolate gift baskets but are actually boxes which makes them an even more unique gift.
